Program delivery update: Temporary resident permits (TRPs) – Eligibility and assessment

Changes have been made to the eligibility requirements specific to failed refugee claimants who apply for a temporary resident permit (TRP). The changes were to align eligibility requirements with paragraph 24(4)(a) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA). Mention of “after substantive evidence was heard” has been removed.
